of directors, The REP is a place where young
audiences can come and experience the adventure and creative
wonder of watching their favorite characters come to
life.
Our programming consists of three distinct elements:
Main Stage Season
The REP provides family-oriented performances based
on classic and contemporary literature appropriate for
children, families, and educators. We also feature
the American Classic Theatre Series to honor American
playwrights. The 2005-2006 season will include: Just
So, Salt And Pepper, You Can’t Take it With You,
Under The Bridge, The Miracle Worker, Sideways Stories
from Wayside School, and See Rock
City.
Youth Academy
The Youth
Academy continues the tradition of the Civic
Theatre by providing the best classes, camps, workshops,
and performance opportunities to children. The Academy's
programming consists of a variety of sequential acting
and technical classes for youth, spring and summer break
drama camps, and opportunities for our students to perform
in their own full-scale productions. Its mission is to
provide a professional theatrical experience in an educational
environment and to create theatre that is by, for and
about young people.
The University of Central Florida Conservatory
Theatre at Loch Haven
The REP houses UCF”s M.F.A.
