Just in time for the World Series is Jackie and Me (October 10 – November 10, 2013), a powerful play by Steven Dietz, based on Dan Gutman’s popular book. Young Joey Stoshack has the unique power to travel through time by holding onto a baseball card. When assigned to write a paper about Jackie Robinson, he heads back to 1947 and meets the legend in person. Joey witnesses Jackie’s determination and dedication during the turbulent time of segregation. The journey forever changes Joey’s definition of courage.
