2016 Summer Camps @ The REP

The Youth Academy’s camps and productions are designed to foster self-confidence, creative thinking, problem-solving skills, collaboration, trust, and discipline through the medium of the performing arts. The REP has provided thousands of children in Central Florida with professional and stimulating performing arts experiences. The majority of camps take place at the theatre’s three-stage facility in Orlando’s Loch Haven Park.   Kinderdrama | Theatre Classes for Families These dynamic, theatre-based classes focus on social and artistic development through creativity, vocalization, and movement through stories, improvisations, and theatre games. Camps that require a guardian are open to moms, dads, grandparents, relatives, or other guardians. Peter Rabbit and his Fuzzy Friends SOLD OUT! Wait List Only!!! June 27 – July 1 | 9am – 9:45am Tuition: $85 Ages: 3-4 (With guardian) Explore the world of the adventurous Peter and his friends Benjamin Bunny, Squirrel Nutkins, Jemima Puddleduck, and more! The REP expands its quality programming to Princeton House Charter School, and students with Autism or related disabilities. Taught by professional theatre teaching artists and Princeton House Charter School teachers, these camps focus on creative drama and social skills development. These four-day camps are designed to serve higher functioning students with verbal communication skills, and will be capped at 10 students. Camps for Students AGES 7-10  Disney’s CineMagic June 20 – 23 | 9am – 2pm Tuition: $125 If you love songs from Disney and Pixar musicals, this camp is for you! 2016 Production Camps

Sharpen your skills and shine onstage! Two special one-week production camps, Disney’s Jungle Book Kids and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. are for elementary and middle school students. One special two-week production camp, The Bully Plays, is for middle and high school students. More than a camp, you can be on stage in a production! *Auditions are required for production camps. Please see audition information on this page.    Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids * June 20 – 24 | 9am – 4pm Performance: Saturday, June 25 at 1pm Grades: Rising 3 – 8 Tuition: $285 The jungle is jumpin’ with a jazzy beat in this classic musical about trust, friendship, and “The Bare Necessities.” A human boy, Mowgli, and his panther friend Bagheera, run into the jungle after being banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan.
