Kyle Adkins

Kyle Adkins (he/him) is an Orlando native and received a BFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida. Author of plays for young audiences and performers including Emilia and the Heart of the Amazon, The Magic Paintbrush, and Prince of Poyais. He originated the role of Hans in The Quest for the Seven Teeth, an immersive young audience experience in Central Park. He teaches theatre and music at The American School in Switzerland.

Bianca Alamo

Bianca Lynn Alamo (she/her) holds an MFA specializing in Theatre for Young Audiences from the University of Central Florida. As a Latina artist and educator, Bianca seeks to empower young people to find their voice and currently serves as the Drama Teacher at Meadow Woods Middle School. Christian Anderson

Christian Anderson (he/him) is a first-year graduate student in the M.F.A. Theatre for Young Audiences program at the University of a Central Florida.  Christian received his B.F.A. in Theatre for Youth from East Carolina University and has previous teaching artist experience with Central Florida Community Arts, The Rose Theatre Omaha, and the Children’s Theatre of Madison. He has a passion for directing youth and utilizing theatre as a tool to teach self-confidence and empathy.

Heather Charles

Heather (she/her) has had the pleasure of teaching, directing and musical directing brave young performers with the REP since 2015. Most recently she directed Super Happy Awesome News ONLINE and the zoomsical The Big One Oh! Favorite past productions with the REP include Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Annie as well as multiple theatre classes. Heather performed and toured professionally in over 20 states and locally at Universal Studios, Disney World, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, Mad Cow Theatre and Winter Park Playhouse. She has taught private voice and audition coaching for 20 years.

Morgan Cobb

Chandler Caroccio

Chandler Caroccio (she/her) is a first year MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences student at UCF. She recently completed her MA in Dramatic Arts with a concentration in Lighting Design and Graduate Certificate in College Instruction at UCONN. She has spent six years working as a Teaching Artist. She enjoys being part of the creative team on shows as either the Music Director or Lighting Designer. She loves sharing her love and knowledge of voice and design with her students. Chandler is excited about her upcoming projects with the Rep!

Dan Davis Jr

Dan (he/him) is an Orlando native and grew up attending shows at The Civic Theatre, the former name of Orlando Repertory Theatre. He is thrilled to return to his 5th summer teaching Design & Tech Academy at Orlando Rep. Dan has worked as Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager at Orlando Rep on both Main Stage and Youth Academy productions, as well as worked as an Entertainment Coordinator and Assistant Stage Manager at Universal Orlando Resort. He is currently the theatre teacher at Meadow Woods Elementary School. Dan is a professional member of the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, Educational Theatre Association, and TYA/USA. He holds his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and Master of Fine Arts in Theatre, with a specialization in Theatre for Young Audiences, both from the University of Central Florida.

Chanel Gomaa

Chanel Gomaa (she/her/hers) is a poet and teaching artist located in Orlando Florida.  She holds a BA in Theatre Studies from the University of Central Florida, and has worked in multiple capacities with Orlando Repertory Theatre, the Seattle Children’s Theatre, the Wekiva  River Players, and more.  She has competed with her poetry on multiple national stages, and has been published by Button Poetry, Freezeray Poetry, Slamfind, Write About Now, Defunkt Magazine, and Bloom Magazine.  You can find Chanel on instagram @chanel_hajer.

Gisella Hernandez

Gisella Maria Hernandez (she/her) is a bilingual actress and teacher. As an actress, she has appeared in The Street of Crocodiles and The Refugee Plays on the UCF stage, When Coquis Sing and Perspectives: Just Like Us on the Orlando Repertory Theater Stage. As a teacher, she continues to be a part of the Bilingual EYEPLAY program and teaches themed drama classes at the Orlando Repertory Theater. Gisella is a student at the University of Central Florida in her senior year (Graduation December 2019) with a major in Theatre (Acting Concentration).

Keri (she/her) has been an Orlando REP teaching artist since 2014.  She has led elementary and middle school students develop in the performing arts through creative drama, community showcases, and youth productions.  She has performed in a number of plays and special events, as well as assisted in the direction of short films.

Bryan Jager

Bryan (he/him) is a local actor, writer, and director, and is thrilled to be working with the Orlando Repertory Theatre! He’s performed with the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando, Mad Cow Theatre, and many shows at the Orlando Rep. As a writer/ director, he’s had work produced in New York, Chicago, and right in town at the Orlando Fringe Festival.

Lisa Renee Johnson

Dancing since age five, Lisa Renée (she/her) was a scholarship student at Pennsylvania Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Master Class invitee with Robert Joffery, Richard Englund, Lupe Serrano, David Howard, and Bruce Marks; professional with Ballet Austin, Indianapolis Ballet Theater, Fort Wayne Ballet, Tapestry Dance Company, Crystal Cruises, Dino Productions, Legends in Concert and Andy Williams. BA in Performing Arts (Dance major, Music, Theatre minors), Dance Education (K-12) Certification, trained in London, England’s Royal Academy of Dance and Dance Masters of America.  Educator in school systems for Indiana, Texas, Missouri, and Florida; a dance docent educator for Texas Elementary school systems.  As Administrator, Director, Choreographer, Adjudicator, Judge, Casting Director, Dance Captain, Swing and Company Member, she has embraced numerous dance studios, professional dance and theatre companies, resorts, production companies, and performing arts schools throughout the United States.

Cory Kennedy

Cory Kennedy (she/her) is an MFA candidate in Theatre for Young Audiences at UCF, and has spent nearly a decade working as a music and theatre educator. Outside the classroom Cory has worked in entertainment at various leaders in the industry including Busch Gardens, Universal Resort, and Carnival Cruise Lines. She believes that the skills students learn in class is critical to their overall social and educational growth. She is thrilled to work with the Orlando Repertory Theatre where she can inspire students to have fun and be confident everyday!

Kelsey Kline

Kelsey (she/her) is very excited to return to her roots here at the Orlando Rep! A teaching artist, performer, and improvisor, Kelsey has worked or performed with the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, The Garden Theatre, and the Annie Russell Theatre. She is currently a rising senior at Rollins College where she is pursing her BA in Theatre Arts with emphases in Directing, Performance, and Musical Theatre as well as a minor in Dance. Gabby Lawlor

Gabby Lawlor (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Education from Florida State University. Jamiaus Marion

Jamiaus Marion (he/him) graduated from the Mississippi School Of the Arts in dance focus. He then went to the University of Southern Mississippi to earn a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. He has training from Broadway Dance Center, and The American Theatre wing in Musical Theatre. Jay is a dancer for The Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios and most recently Seaworld Parks and Entertainment. Jay’s theatre credits: Richie, A Chorus Line and many others.

Carmen Medina

Carmen (she/her) has more than 20 years of experience in theatre, opera, and film as a wigmaker, wig stylist, and makeup artist. More recently, she has added wax figure hair application and styling to her bag of tricks! This is her third full season at Orlando REP creating wig styles and headdresses (not always out of actual hair) and her second season helping to teach the very popular Stage Makeup Class, which she enjoys very much.

Laura Mejia

Laura (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Central Florida and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Originally from Colombia, Laura moved to the United States at the age of 10, and discovered her passion for the performing arts at the age of 13 when she performed in her first production with a local Spanish-speaking acting group. Since then, she has been involved in multiple stage, film as well as theme park productions, and has a huge love for Theatre. She lived in Germany for 3 years, where she was a nanny and English tutor. Now back in the US, she is excited to combine her love for children and theater at the Orlando Rep as a teaching artist, and is very proud to be involved in the EyePlay program, which focuses on the incorporation of dramatic arts within bilingual classrooms.

Joni Newman

Joni (she/her) holds a BA in English Education from Brigham Young University and is an MFA candidate in Theatre for Young Audiences at UCF. Although her professional background involves nearly a decade of teaching English to high school and junior high students, Joni has been a performer all of her life. Favorite credits include Marian (The Music Man), Catherine (The Foreigner), Shelby (Steel Magnolias), Belinda (Noises Off), and Beth (Little Women: The Musical). She has also helped assistant direct and choreograph numerous productions in the Utah valley. She is thrilled to work with the Orlando Repertory Theatre where she can help foster meaningful theatre experiences for youth.

Tommy Novak

Tommy Novak (they/them/their) is a Chicago-based non-binary Equity Actor,  theater director, vocal coach, movement specialist, performer and an adjunct professor of Musical Theater at Carthage College. Tommy has a masters in Music Theater Vocal Pedagogy. They have worked both nationally and internationally as a actor. Some productions Tommy has performed in are Hairspray, Billy Elliot, The Producers, Shrek and Little Shop Of Horrors, Taming of the Shrew, Loves Labour’s Lost, Romeo and JulietTommy has produced and directed many shows some shows are, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Skylight, Wit, Sister Act, Don Giovanni, The Adams Family, The Wild Party, Peter Pan and Annie.  They have a rich experiences in teaching and performing music and drama and has his own unique teaching style.They have worked all over the world as a teaching artist teaching, theater, musical theater, and Design costume and makeup designs classes.  The classroom atmosphere is relaxed and fun facilitating students to their maximum creativity.

Savannah Pederson

Savannah Pedersen (she/her) is a writer, director, and teacher based in Orlando. After working professionally as an actor for several years, Savannah made the transition to writing with her first musical in 2018, and was given the opportunity to tour her work around Central Florida, Melbourne, Australia, and Ontario, Canada. Savannah’s other passions when not writing include teaching dance to children, youth, and adults of all ages and abilities. She loves to get into a creative, collaborative space and just have a lot of fun, and is so looking forward to returning to the Orlando Rep for a stellar summer!

Jarrett Poore

Jarrett (he/him) holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and a M.A. in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre from The University of Central Florida. Bethany Post

Bethany Post (she/her) is a performer, teacher, and advocate for the arts with a wealth of teaching and performing experience, having traveled across the country with Missoula Children’s Theatre and National Theatre for Children. She relocated from Little Rock to attend UCF, where she served as a company actor and teaching artist with the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre and most recently as the Education Coordinator with the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. She uses music and movement as foundational inspiration, and you will likely hear her singing while passing in the hallway.

Stephen Pugh

10 years with Orlando Rep has honored Stephen (he/him) with 18 performances on their stages. Since starting acting in 1997, that honor has also included over 100 character performances at Theater Downtown, Orlando Fringe and even Universal Studios. Notable Rep shows include The Somewhat True Tales of Robin Hood, The Borrowers, Tom Sawyer, A Christmas Story, Madagascar, and How I Became A Pirate. Gus Quijije

Agustin “Gus” Quijije (he/him) is an alumni of the University of Central Florida and graduated in 2019 with his Bachelors in Theatre Studies with a minor in Education. He has performed since elementary school and became active in the Orlando Theatre community after moving for school. Samantha Reser

Samantha Reser (she/her) just finished her second year as an MFA student studying Theatre for Young Audiences at UCF. Samantha received her BFA in Theatre for Young Audiences from Oklahoma City University, and has previous teaching artist experience in theatres such as Lake Dillon Theatre Company, Metro Theater Company, and Hartford Stage. Brooke Schellpfeffer

Brooke (she/her) has been a part of the REP family since she was 9 years old. From performing in TYA shows, to summer stock shows, being an apprentice, to being an assistant choreographer, to 4 years as a teaching artist. She is currently working as the Education Intern for the 2019-2020 season at Orlando REP, as well as continuing as a teaching artist. You can also find her choreographing the season and competitive high school troupe at Magic Curtain Productions this year. Brooke graduated from Florida State University with a BA in Theatre, with an emphasis in Choreography. She truly has a passion for teaching and inspiring young children and loves getting the chance to share that passion in the Orlando area!

Cameron Silverman

Sara Skinner-Probst

Sara Skinner-Probst (she/her) holds an M.F.A. in Youth Theatre with a focus in Education and Puppetry from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre from Buffalo State College. She taught Educational Puppetry in American Samoa for the University of Hawaii, Samoa project. This is her 9th year as Theatre and Technical Theatre teacher at Freedom High School.  Sara also teaches at The Orlando Repertory Theatre and The Orlando Shakespeare Theatre.

Robby Stamper

Robby Stamper (he/him) is thrilled to be a part of the Orlando Rep family.  Robby has served as musical director for Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines and Disney Theatrical’s Cub School, which works with young performers, preparing them for young roles in Disney Broadway shows such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins.  As a musical director/vocal coach, he worked in New York City with Julliard’s Summer Performing Arts Vocal Workshop, Camp Broadway, Brooklyn Academy of Music and City Center’s Encores!

Nathan Tanner Stout (he/him) is a graduate student in the MFA Theatre for Young Audiences Program at UCF. Originally from Zanesville, Ohio, Nathan earned his BA in Theatre Arts Studies at Brigham Young University before living and teaching in Italy for 2 years. Shonda L. Thurman

Shonda L Thurman (she/her) is an African American artist who grew up in Flint, MI where arts were present but not readily available to her community. She attended the musical theatre program  at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL but earned her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Stephens  College in Columbia, MO. She has been a professionally certified K-12 educator in Flint Public  Schools as well as Orange County Public Schools in Orlando. FL.

Sage Tokach

Sage Tokach (she/her) is an M.F.A. Theatre for Young Audiences graduate candidate at the University of a Central Florida. She’s from Abilene, Kansas, and Orlando is the largest city where she has lived. Sage got her B.F.A. from Oklahoma City University and recently toured with Missoula Children’s Theatre. She has a special passion for outdoor theatre, and she hopes to visit every national park.

Julia Veiga

Julia Veiga (she/her) is a theatre artist from Northeast Georgia. She attended the University of Evansville and holds a B.S in Theatre Education. From directing virtual productions; to sewing/gluing/stapling designs to life in various technical roles, Julia loves being involved in the process. She believes in the power of TYA as it has heavily influenced her path as a theatre artist and can’t wait to make more magic in Orlando! She is a proud dog mom, foodie/cheffie, and Aldi Fanatic.

Samuel D. Walker Jr.

Samuel D. Walker Jr (he/him/his) is a Master of Fine Arts candidate in the Theatre for Young Audiences program at the University of Central Florida. He is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Greensboro College. Samuel has recently served as a Director, Production Manager, and Teaching Artist for the Theatre Program at Camp Merrie-Woode. He is so excited to continue his journey of providing youth with the opportunity to be themselves and to believe in themselves through the art of theatre!

Arius West

Arius West (he/him) graduated from the University of Central Florida with his bachelor’s in Theatre and Education with a concentration in Stage Combat. He seasonally works in Entertainment at Sea World and he is a teaching artist and performer with The Orlando Repertory Theatre. Arius is also a coach for a high school step team, he serves as a lead & assistant teaching artist for Michelee Puppets & ArtReach Orlando, respectively, that integrate the arts within school curriculum, and he joined The Orlando Magic’s coed Hip Hop Dance team, The 407. Considering the impact of Covid-19 on all of this, Arius now spends a lot of his free time virtually connecting & collaborating with other artists and helping with producing content for virtual productions & performances and more!

Hadley Williams

Hadley (she/her) is a 25 year old Orlando actress/teacher. She graduated in 2018 from Siena Heights University with a BA in Theatre/Speech. Since graduating, Hadley has toured with Missoula Children’s Theatre as a Tour Actor/Director. She has also taught with Dramatic Education in Orlando. She has worked in entertainment at Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Legoland. Hadley has always had a passion for youth theatre and the power the arts has in helping children gain confidence and creativity!
