Straight from the headlines of local news onto the stage. As a part of the national #ENOUGH Plays project, young performers will devise a theatrical response on the topic of gun violence facing our schools and community. #ENOUGH is about youth engagement, youth led creativity, and above all, action.

Collaborative devising is not only a more common play development method used in theatre companies world wide, it also requires students to actively examine the process of collaboration while they create. The skills this class teaches prepare students for careers that require the ability to work together to achieve innovation.

Teen Perspectives Lab provides teens, ages 13 to 18, opportunities to work on theatre that reflects and challenges their unique perspective on the world. Students are asked to find purpose through performance by telling stories that resonate with their own lives or by creating theatre with empathy and attention to other types of audiences.
