Juan Bobo, the comic hero from Puerto Rico, seems to somehow bungle everything he tries, yet his good heart always leads him on the right course. Here Juan manages to save the Queen’s necklace, unearth a plot by the palace thieves, and earn himself a place of wealth and respect in the King’s esteem all because he is interested in befriending some of the palace garden’s nightingales. This fun and funny adventure leaves you giggling and cheering on this unlikely hero!

Auditions for specific roles happen on the first day of class.

Youth Academy Performance Workshops are an opportunity for students to study, rehearse, and perform! With a focus on the performer, without costumes or scenery, each actor works in character development, rehearsal etiquette, and the actor’s process. These fun and challenging productions allow you to make friends, become more confident performers, and learn more about theatre!
