Performance Workshop: Madagascar Jr- A Musical Adventure ♫

Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto your stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.  Based on the smash DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar. Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar JR. leaves audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”

With a focus on the performer, with minimal costumes or scenery, each actor works in character development, rehearsal etiquette, and the actor’s process. These fun and challenging productions allow you to make friends, become more confident performers, and learn more about theatre!

• Students should bring a water bottle, non-perishable lunch, and snack.
• Extended Care is available from 7:30am-9am and 4pm- 5:30pm for $50 per week.
• All students perform in the production and audition for specific roles on the first day of class.
• Final performance is June 10th at 1pm.
