UCF Celebrates The Arts Schedule TBD
Inspire our youngest friends to love the theatre as much as you do! Work together to create an immersive experience designed to be a gentle introduction to theatre for children ages 1-5 and their caregivers! Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) is a participatory, multi-sensory theatre genre and growing trend in the United States. Use movement, props, music, art, and hands-on sensory experiences in a toddler-friendly atmosphere to create a short TVY performance with your ensemble. Then, perform the show again as part of UCF Celebrates The Arts at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in April.
Teen Perspectives Lab provides teens, ages 13 to 18, opportunities to work on theatre that reflects and challenges their unique perspective on the world. Students are asked to find purpose through performance by telling stories that resonate with their own lives or by creating theatre with empathy and attention to other types of audiences.
