Additional Giving Initiatives

Give in honor of Tracey Conner

Tracey Conner was a Writer, Director, Puppet Builder and Performer. Her artistry and love for puppeteering led her to create MicheLee Puppets 38 years ago. Throughout MicheLee Puppet’s history, the nonprofit has reached more than 2.3 million students.

With your support this new initiative will stand as a testament to the power of lasting legacies, reminding us that the impact of creativity, education, and artistic innovation can transcend generations, leaving an indelible mark on our community and the lives of those we serve.

Orlando Family Stage is creating a memorial space in our lobby to honor Tracey’s work and impact. To acknowledge those who donate in Tracey’s memory, we will visibly recognize gifts over $250.

In the Notes section at the bottom of the donation form, please indicate that your gift is in honor of Tracey Conner.

Tony Messina Scholarship Fund

At a very young age, Tony Messina knew that entertainment would be in his future. Using his talent, Tony Messina offered his audiences rare moments of fantasy, joy, fun, and escape from the worries and problems of everyday life. Unfortunately, Tony’s life was cut short when he passed unexpectedly at age 41 on April 24, 2018. His loss is shared by family, friends, fellow actors, and fans in the Orlando Community.

Recipients of the Tony Messina Acting Scholarship keep Tony’s legacy alive!

MAC Boys Entertainment

MAC Boys Entertainment (MBE) was created with the purpose of filling the void of Black representation within the theatre world, focusing first and foremost on the Central Florida community. Founders Maurice Mallard, Arius West, and Christopher Payen (the M-A-C in MAC Boys) are all co-artistic directors of the fledgling company, with the collective goal to bring the work and stories of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to the theatrical forefront. “It was created with the idea that theatre can be, and do anything. That the color of a person’s skin does not determine their talent or their range,” says MBE.

Your contribution supports Orlando REP’s continued partnership with MAC Boys Entertainment.
