Join us for the 3rd Annual Rockin’ REP Rec Fest!

In partnership with the City of Orlando and the Families, Parks, and Recreation Division, The REP is pleased to provide high quality after-school arts programming again this year.

Four community centers around the city have been selected to participate in this exciting program. When deciding this year’s theme, The REP and the City of Orlando Families, Parks, and Recreation Division knew that our need for the arts, community-building, and connection has never been stronger for our city. This year’s show is dedicated to the Pulse victims, their families, and survivors. Young people participating in the program focused on unity, strength, compassion, and connection. Coming together strongly, #orlandounited became our theme.

Throughout the past few weeks, students from Colonial Town Neighborhood Center, Engelwood Neighborhood Center, Northwest Neighborhood Center and the Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center participated in sessions that focused on skill-building in dance, drama, music, visual arts, and even spoken word poetry. Students learned how to develop supportive and productive ensembles, while learning the value of community and the arts.

On April 21 at 7:30pm, students will perform at The REP for a one night special event. Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE community event!

Please contact the Box Office at 407-896-7365 for ticket information.

This program is generously supported by Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Mayor’s Matching Grants program.
